paid with their lives to prove "freedom is not free." 

Our intent is to honor their sacrifice and preserve
the memory of those Belleville sons who died in service to our country.

The  second edition updates information from the 106-page original printing, including biographies of the one-hundred-fifty-six men of Belleville, N.J., who died while in service to their country, and more information on Belleville actions in the American Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War and Cold War casualties.

Latest edition includes some photos of these young men plus a local soldier's Civil War diary, and another soldier's letters home from the South Pacific during World War II.
